Always follow the instructions in the manual, especially when it concerns devices which need to be assembled.
Warranty Range and Duration
The three-year warranty applies to most smanos products unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. Accessories included with the main device and batteries have a warranty of six months. When buying used smanos products, the product warranty remains measured from the time it was bought by the original owner.
In case of defect, return the product to your reseller with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the reseller if available. For missing accessories such as manual, or other items, contact our Service Centre. Warranty will be void in cases of opened products, physical damage, misuse, modification, repair by unauthorised persons, carelessness and using the product for other purpose than its intended use.
Warranty Does Not Include
Power supplies, batteries, antennas and all other products integrated in, or directly connected with, the main product or products that may reasonably assumed to have a different wear pattern than the main product are therefore not covered by the smanos guarantee. Warranty does not apply when incorrect or improper use, external influences and/or opening of the housing has been done by parties other than smanos. Any unit or defective part which has been replaced shall become our property. Repairing the unit must be done by smanos qualified personnel. The warranty expires immediately if the unit is repaired and/or when the product is misused. Damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as fire, flood, earthquake, war, vandalism or theft. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, including any loss of business profits or any other commercial damages, arising out of the use of its product.
Faulty Goods & Guarantees
In the unlikely event that a product purchased from www.getsmanos.co.uk does not operate upon arrival or develops a fault during the warranty period, the following applies:
To report a fault and to arrange the return of faulty goods please contact our Customer Helpline on 0345 257 5000. One of our helpline technicians will discuss the nature of the fault with you, as we often find that 'faults' are configuration or compatibility issues that can be resolved over the telephone and in such cases we can help you get your product working, saving you the trouble of returning a non-faulty item. This in no way affects your statutory rights and is simply something we ask our customers to perform in order to ensure that products returned are genuinely faulty and to speed up the product exchange/refund/replacement process. Upon testing the returned product, should it be found not to have a fault then we will contact you to discuss further.
If we agree to Refund your Return Postage Costs, we will only do so, providing you supply us with proof of return, such as a scanned copy or photocopy of the Receipt for Postage. The Returns Reference Number as obtained from our Customer Helpline must be quoted in all correspondence.
We will only refund items returned to us by the agreed method of postage. We are not responsible for the difference in postal costs where you have chosen to return the product to us by a more expensive means.
Please ensure you return the product in its original packaging and with all product component parts as supplied, including but not limited to: manuals, accessories, cables.
Note: If a receipt is not provided we are not obliged to refund your postage. The Postage Frank mark on the package is not Proof of Postage and will not be accepted.
